You will lie in bed with the sounds of coquis and owls and awaken to birds all around you. Fern trees, bananas and other tropical fruiting and flowering plants are right in your yard. You may be able to hear some of the small waterfalls which are below the house and a winding path will lead you to them.
A roofed kitchen and dining/sitting area are perfect for breakfast or any meal, with a wonderful view out to the garden and trees beyond . The two enclosed rooms are a living room with folding walls that open to the deck and a bedroom with a queen-size bed. Also, the living room couch folds out to a queen-size bed. The charming bathroom has a shower, with hot water. For nighttime lighting, there is an overhead propane lantern in the main area and plenty of florescent lanterns, candles and torches. A gas fireplace under the roof, can be lit for cool evenings or rainy weather.
Although there is no electricity, hot water is supplied for both the bathroom and the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with a propane grill and other amenities.
Nearby, another kitchen is available, with refrigerator, microwave, a two-burner stovetop and other conveniences including internet access You will be welcome to prepare meals for yourself or, depending on your dining option, stroll up to the guesthouse cottage for an expansive buffet breakfast, a unique Caribbean vegan or vegetarian lunch or a romantic starlight dinner. In addition to a surrounding deck, a lovely patio with a large outdoor tub (hot and cold water) may be enjoyed by the light of a nearby firepit.

A stay at the cabin is a peaceful, rejuvenating experience.
