The Mountains:  In our private valley setting, there are over 50 acres of mountain and jungle trails with many streams, waterfalls, mountain and jungle views.. Recommended hikes range from simple strolls to half-day or more picnics.  There are small brooks which open out to wide riverways and waterfalls ranging in size up to 30 feet, with pools for dipping.   Birdwatchers will find cuckoos, hummingbirds, owls, Puerto Rican bullfinches, todys, anis, egrets and many more.  You will be surrounded by exotic plants including  heliconias and gingers of many varieties, bamboo, fruit trees such as starfruit, soursop, citrus, avocado and breadfruit. Throughout the jungle, there are ferns ranging from delicate miniatures to 20 foot tall trees.  You will encounter four or five kinds of bananas, towering bamboo, giant philodendra, orchids  and many more flowers and tropical trees.

Our creative and original recipes are made to your specifications -  vegan, raw food, vegetarian, etc.  Guests are consistently delighted with our cuisine - a blend of international and Caribbean flavors, served with flair and elegance.   Our breakfast buffets feature assorted breads and pastries from our own kitchen, homemade marmalades and spreads and many organic fruits grown at Maravilla.  Some of our lunch and dinner items include:  original soups, homemade seitan in delicious flavors, inventive tofu dishes, Maravilla-made pizzas and appetizers and outstanding desserts.  Much of our produce is grown in our own organic gardens.  Dine indoors, on our garden patio or take a picnic with you!  Lunches and dinners available - Bed&Breakfast, Ala carte or All-Inclusive options.  Also make note that we love to host and/or cater for special occasions, such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays.   See our Menus page and visit our Food Gallery for more details.  For those not yet vegetarian(!), you will nevertheless enjoy our breakfast buffet and other meals and we can direct you to the best local restaurants for your own favorite foods. 
At our Beachfront House:  Choose a single room with bath and share full kitchen and patios, take a full floor, with two bedrooms and large kitchen/livingroom or choose the Penthouse studio, with kitchenette, bath and sundeck.  In the Mountains:  Choose from a secluded "luxury" Cabin in a lush jungle setting, or a  hilltop Cottage with mountain views and flower garden.  The Cottage Suite is a floor to yourself, with two bedrooms, a comfortable living room and other amenities.  Small groups such as birdwatching, art, yoga and therapy, are welcome - we can accommodate about ten people.

Spend quiet nights stargazing or dance and gamble at a casino.

The Beach:  Our house is situated directly waterfront, where you can hear the waves 24/7, watch pelicans diving and sit with a glass of wine, watching the changing light and sunset over the ocean.  The beach offers swimming, of course, long walks, kayaking and snorkeling (depending on tides and waves) and  boogie boarding!  The location is very accessible to restaurants, bars, shopping and movies and close to Rincon's famous surfing beaches.
