Our Beach House
The ground floor of the house includes two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and private bath, air conditioning, ceiling fan and dvd player. The other is assigned a bath on a different floor, has a queen bed, ac and fan and the rate is lower.
A large common area with a full kitchen and room for dining and lounging completes this interior space. Additionally, there is plenty of deck and balcony space directly over the ocean.
There is wifi throughout the house.
Rooms may be rented separately, or you might want to reserve the entire floor, as our "Beach Suite".
Additionally, there is a third-floor Penthouse Apartment, with a private bath and kitchenette. This apartment has a large sundeck, which may or may not be available for ground floor ("suite") guests.
This apartment has ac , ceiling fan and wifi.
Down the spiral stairs, at basement level and accessible to all guests, you will step directly onto an excellent , although not wide, swimming beach. This area is suitable for snorkeling, kayaking, boogie boards and long walks, depending on the tides and wave conditions. The beach is shared only by the houses (mostly part-time vacation homes) that line it, so it generally is not crowded.
You can also access a wide and long palm-lined beach with a short walk to the end of our street.
For activities, we provide snorkeling gear,
boogie boards and kayaks.
The beach house is an easy drive to shopping and movie theatres and is located on the Rincon line, not far from Rincon's famous surfing beaches. It's a short drive into the towns of Anasco and Mayaguez and is within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. Do note that this house is not as secluded as our farm. Weekends and holidays can get lively in the neighborhood. You will be happily welcomed if you would like to join in!
We are offering our usual high quality vegan, vegetarian or raw food which is premade. We also stock the refrigerator with requested groceries. You will be able to prepare your own meals whenever you want them. There may be times when a catered served meal is available, depending on schedule.
If you would like daily maid service, it must be requested and will incur an extra charge; otherwise, we will respond to your specific needs for linens or whatever you wish. There currently is not a washer/dryer in the house, but we plan to set up a laundry in the future.
Of course, guests will have the option of splitting their time between our mountain farm and the beach house, depending on which accommodations are available.
If you have any interest in spending time on the beach for all or part of your visit, send us an email with your tentative dates and accommodation requests.
