The atmosphere at the cottage is comfortable and casual. There are antique collectibles and many pieces of original art. In a simple, natural setting, any conveniences you may require are at hand.
Your room will be on the upper floor, one of two pleasant and charming bedrooms with a shared bath (there is a second bath on the first floor) and a large sitting room. Reserve a single room or the entire floor.
Each bedroom has a queen or king sized bed and is furnished with artwork
and island decor. Mountain breezes keep the air fresh and comfortable and air conditioning is unnecessary.
You will enjoy the second floor sitting room and the small balcony with a view to the northwest and a glimpse of the ocean. A minifridge and coffeemaker are right outside your room. Additionally, there is a television with satellite service and internet satellite hookup for your laptop. Entertainment includes an eclectic movie collection and a small library, with novels and art books as well as books about the history, plants and birds of the tropics and Puerto Rico. On cool winter nights, the chimnea fireplace provides a toasty and romantic atmosphere.
A second bath and dining area are on the first floor, as well as the kitchen.
The cottage is surrounded by a wonderful yard and flower-filled patio,
where guests may dine and enjoy the mountain breezes and birdsong.

There are several campsites on the property, in valleys near streams, on hilltops or in the woods.
Most campsites have wooden decks on which a tent may be set up. There are also toilet and shower facilities at each site.
Each site has a campstove or grill/firepit.
Tents are supplied, along with air mattresses, linens, lanterns, flashlights, chairs, dishes, etc. Additionally, a centrally located refrigerator is available.

Cottage guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast. Breakfast is not included for cabin or camping, but may be purchased separately. Other meals may also be available for purchase. See our General information page for hotel menus and prices.

At the cabin, you will be set apart from the other buildings, in an area close to the trees and jungle, very private, romantic and exotic. You will fall asleep to the sounds of coquis and owls and awaken to birds all around you. Fern trees, bananas and other exotic plants are right in your yard. You may be able to hear some of the small waterfalls which are below the cabin and a winding path behind the house will lead you to them.
The cabin consists of two rooms, a living room with folding walls that open to the deck and a small bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The bath has a shower and there is a patio kitchen and lots of space for serving meals.
Although there is no electricity in the cabin, there is hot water, both for the bath and for the kitchen and there is a refrigerator available nearby. The kitchen itself is roofed, but open to the gardens and has a propane grill. There are plenty of flourescent and gas lanterns, candles and flashlights.
In addition to a surrounding deck, the cabin has a lovely patio with a large outdoor tub (hot and cold water) which may be enjoyed by the light of a nearby firepit.
There is a second, unfinished floor to the cabin where you will find a small gym and a telescope for stargazing. This floor makes a good sunning deck, also and there are many books to take up with you.
A stay at the cabin is a peaceful, rejuvenating experience.
